Laura & Eric Grandmont

Laura has been involved in the dog world for two decades in one capacity or another. She started as a child learning and assisting various trainers in various dog sports. Laura's uncle was her guiding force, getting her started in dogs from a very young age. At age 14 Laura began to apprentice under Ron Murray of Leidenschaft Kennels and Kim Murray of Animals In Motion who gave her a solid education in working with dogs. Over the years she participated in conformation and obedience, as well as schutzhund. Laura has wrangled animals for film and television and also assisted in teaching various classes from puppy to specialized trick training.

Laura acquired her first rottweiler in the '90s from her mentor in the breed Kim Livingston of Drachenbrau Kennels. Over the years she showed various breeds to a variety of wins & titles in the Maritime Region. She also spent time coordinating rottweiler rescues in Nova Scotia.

In 2004 Eric & Laura married and moved fulltime to the beautiful Annapolis Valley with plenty of time to pursue their mutual love of the dog world. The Grandmonts recently relocated to Alberta where they are settling in very well!
